Carey Lowell (born April 15 1970) is an American actor. She began modeling at the age of Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Her acting career began with the movie 'Dangerously Close' (1986). In the that same year, she was in "Club Paradise". The actress also appeared in the James Bond movie 'Licence to Kill' (1989). Later, she reprised her role in the video game '007 Legends.' However, she is most well-known for her role on TV particularly for her role 'Jamie Ross' in The American TV drama , 'Law and Order. The show had her as the main character and in a guest role. In dismay with the mainstream media, in the early 2000s, she chose to attend New York University and study documentary filmmaking. In 2016, the divorce proceedings she was undergoing with Richard Gere were finally resolved after a 3-year separation. Lowell, since that time, has avoided any sort of dispute.
